# Heart of Ecovillages

> Heart of Ecovillages integrates the ecovillage and intentional communities movement and returns the voices of its members to the field. It is a growing media and community ecosystem, and a biannual print and digital magazine is its first form. Issue 1, "Boundaries and Belonging," launches July 2026 at the GEN Europe Gathering in Bavaria.

Heart of Ecovillages is edited by Gustaf Palm, Cassandre Torres, and Vincent Rueda, and is a structurally supported partner project of Les Pas-Sages. It is not a federation. Its role is narrative and editorial: documenting regenerative community life across Europe in a critical-care register that is neither promotional nor cynical. The audience is inter-island travelers, people inside one community tradition who are curious about another, and people newer to the movement.
